The Team
Hi, I’m Rachael and I’m a massive dog lover having been around and grown up with dogs all my life.
I started my early career in the aerospace industry and then spent over 15 years working in the head offices of some of the fashion industries biggest high street brands.
I founded the business in August 2022 having spent 7 months working at the UK’s leading doggy day care in Cobham.
I have studied for a professional dog walking certificate and have completed various canine training courses whilst working at doggy day care. I am also canine first aid trained.
I am extremely interested in canine behaviour, I find it fascinating! Being able to read a dogs body language and general behaviour is something I feel is very important when caring for & communicating with dogs.
Hi, I’m Kirsten and I joined Rachael’s Rovers in June 2024.
Before joining the team, I spent a few years working in doggy dogcare - first in London and then in Cobham, which is where I met Rachael. Over that time, I gained lots of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities.
Alongside my practical experience, I've completed various canine courses and developed a particular interest in canine nutrition and how it links to both health and behaviour. I'm a big believer that dogs really are what they eat.
I'm also the proud owner of Bonnie, my 5-year-old Romanian rescue. You might spot her joining me on the odd group walk!
Training Bonnie really sparked an interest in behaviour and training leading me to becoming a fully qualified trainer in July 2025 with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT).
Caring for the safety of your dog & the planet too…
Fully Electric Vehicles…
The vehicles we use to transport your dogs are fully electric.
We are all about taking those vital steps towards reducing carbon dioxide emissions and improving air quality in our local areas.
They are also much quieter for the dogs and we don’t have exhaust fumes coming back inside the vehicle.
