The Team
Hi, I’m Rachael and I’m a massive dog lover having been around and grown up with dogs all my life.
I started my early career in the aerospace industry and then spent over 15 years working in the head offices of some of the fashion industries biggest high street brands.
I founded the business in August 2022 having spent 7 months working at the UK’s leading doggy day care in Cobham.
I have studied for a professional dog walking certificate and have completed various canine training courses whilst working at doggy day care. I am also canine first aid trained.
I am extremely interested in canine behaviour, I find it fascinating! Being able to read a dogs body language and general behaviour is something I feel is very important when caring for & communicating with dogs.
Hi, I’m Kirsten and I joined Rachael’s Rovers in June 2024.
For the last 2 years I’ve been working at a doggy day care in Cobham, which is where I met Rachael. Prior to that I was working in a London doggy day care for just over a year.
I have undertaken a variety of different canine training courses whilst working at doggy day cares.
I own a rescue dog called Bonnie, who is around 3 years old and is often with me on my group walks.
I have a vast interest in canine nutrition and spend a lot of timing reading up and researching this topic, especially now I have my own dog to care for.
I really believe that dogs very much ‘are what they eat’ and if they eat high quality food, there’s a better than ever chance they will enjoy a long and healthy life. Just like we human beings.
Caring for the safety of your dog & the
planet too!
